Below is information to help you prepare for your session.

Wardrobe Planning

What is your style? What makes you and your family shine? It's important to me that everyone feels comfortable and amazing!

How do you want your holiday photos to feel? Dressy, Casual or Fun?Neutrals and jewel tones are always classic. Coordinating outfits based on a color palette is beautiful but you can also have fun with matching PJ's!

-Bright Neon colors could bounce causing skin tones to be skewed.

Let your kiddos be themselves

Children

I am not expecting for your kids to be "perfect," with a forced smile staring straight at the camera. I wouldn't expect this of own child! It may take a moment for your kids to warm up in front of the camera...and that is absolutely ok! Big emotions and lots of energy?...I'm all for it! Let them play and explore the world around them, all the while capturing these authentic moments.

So bring your kiddos the way they are, and let’s create art!

Final Note

First, I just want to say: YOU ARE AMAZING! I know that getting everyone ready and out the door for photos can feel overwhelming, and it's perfectly normal to feel anxious. But take a deep breath — I’m here to make this experience fun, joyful, and stress-free!

Think of this as more than just a photoshoot; it’s a chance to make holiday memories and celebrate this beautiful season together. We’ll embrace the laughter, the little moments, and all the joy your family brings.

Session Policies and Requests

 -These policies were written in your agreement but added to this page for easier access.


  • Time slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and is reserved once your deposit is received.
  • Your Holiday Mini Session will be located at d.Schonhoff Photography studio: 

**8088 OLD AUSTIN ROAD building 2a, Selma, TX 78154**

  • Mini sessions have a maximum duration of 20 minutes. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to ensure punctuality.

 ***Danielle S. Photography cannot accommodate missed sessions and cannot extend the session if clients are running late.**

  • Unfortunately, I will not be able to answer phone calls during the session day as I will be working with another family. You may send a text message and I will try my best to return your message when I am available. 210.710.2400
  • Danielle S. Photography Studio is a small location and can only accommodate one family at a time. 

Please wait in your car until 5 minutes before your scheduled time. 

  • If you need to use the restroom upon arrival, you are welcome to use the facilities before your session. Please return to your car or wait outside the studio until your scheduled time.
  • Please note that mini sessions are designed for immediate family members only. If you have unique circumstances, please reach out to discuss before booking to select the most suitable session type.
  • The use of other cameras, including cell phones, is not permitted during your scheduled session time, as it may confuse your kiddos regarding where to direct their attention.

 

Cancellation, Rescheduling and No-Show Policy

Please contact Danielle as soon as possibly by email (d.schonhoffphotography@gmail.com) or text message (210.710.2400) to cancel or reschedule.

Cancellation Policy:

I completely understand that sometimes plans change. However, please keep in mind that the deposit made to book your session is non-refundable. This deposit compensates Danielle S. Photography for dedicating time and resources to prepare for your session and for turning down other potential opportunities on your chosen date and time.

Rescheduling Policy:

I want to be flexible and accommodate your schedule to the best of my ability. You are allowed one reschedule within 60 days of your original session date, as long as you give me a heads-up with at least 72 hours (3 days) notice. If you need to reschedule again after that, unfortunately, your original deposit will be forfeited.

Weather-related Rescheduling:

Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, but don't worry! If the conditions aren't suitable for the session to go ahead, we will reschedule for the next available opening. Decisions on weather-related rescheduling are at my discretion, and I'll make sure we find the best alternative.

Mini-Session Late Arrivals:

If you happen to run late, please get in touch with me as soon as possible. I've allocated a specific time frame for your session, and arriving late could mean we have less time for shooting. If you're more than 5 minutes late and haven't communicated with me, it will be considered a no-show, and unfortunately, your session will be canceled, and your deposit will be forfeited.

No-Shows:

While I understand that unexpected things can happen, if you don't show up for your session your deposit will be forfeited.

Reshoots & Refunds:

I'm dedicated to providing you with the best possible experience and results. In the rare case of technical failures or malfunctions that prevent the session or delivery of photos, I'll be happy to discuss a reshoot. However, other than these specific circumstances, I don't offer reshoots, revisions, or refunds.
